Topic was the short stories and biography of Bhagabaticharan Panigrahi and Laxmikant Mohapatra available on our website.

Now to in our effort to get students for the quiz we reached the Jajpur DEO’s office and sought their help. The DEO was very happy to see this kind of an effort and assured all possible help in this regard. He assigned the responsibility to the ADEO of Jajpur to help us in this event.

The ADEO Jajpur then took it upon himself and circulated the message about the quiz among the officials. He also called for a virtual meeting of the BEOs with some CRCCs of Jajpur district where we educated them about the details of the quiz like the date, the eligibility, the mode of the quiz and the prizes for the quiz. Now the BEOs also called for a virtual meeting of their CRCCs as well as some HMs where we educated them about the quiz. Several such meetings were held across the blocks.

In response to our call 620 students showed up for the quiz in online mode on 6th march 2022 at 7.00 pm.

We are excited to share here that with the active help of the DEO Jajpur’s team, we successfully conducted the quiz.

Following are the proud winners of the Quiz?

  1. 1st Position (Prize - Rs. 5000/-)
    • Shreyashree Jena, Panchayat High School, Rampur
  2. 2nd Position (Prize - Rs. 3000/-)
    • Md Rushan Alam Quadri, Jajpur Zilla School
  3. 3rd Position (2 winners) (Prize - Rs. 2000/- each)
    1. Priyasa Dhal, Bhagaban Nanda Govt. High School
    2. Bidusmita Das, Singhpur Govt. High School

The participants for the 1st and the 2nd positions were clear winners. However, there was a tie for the 3rd position in terms of numbers obtained. The tricky part was, there was only 2 seconds delay in submission for one of the participants.

The management was not happy to see someone miss out only by 2 seconds delay in submission. It considered the case sympathetically and decided to award the said participant a joint winner of the 3rd position with equal prize money.

We’ll felicitate the winners and are planning for a prize distribution ceremony in April 2022.
